I first got involved with Peer
Ministry as a teenager myself.
That was, twenty years ago! It
was where I felt engaged and
empowered… I felt I was being

Interested in becoming a peer minister? There are several opportunities for students. JV Peer Ministry (8th graders) and Sr. High Peer Ministry (10th - 12th graders) is designed to equip students with Peer Ministry skills. What is Peer Ministry you ask? Click here to find out.
J.V. Peer Ministry
8th graders - Fall
Each year, a group of 8th graders gather to discover gifts and develop their leadership and ministry skills. The JV Peer Ministry group meets on wednesday nights and begins in October.
Senior High Peer Ministry
10th - 12th graders-JUST BEGAN Feb 1, 2012.
Each year, a new group of teens gather to discover and develop their gifts, learn techniques for peer counseling, and grow in their interpersonal skills and faith. Peer Ministry is integral to youth ministry, PM meets Wednesday nights beginning February 1, 2012.
Peer Ministry Leadership
11th - 12th graders that have completed Sr. High PM
Sr. High Leadership is a group of Sr. High youth that have completed the Peer Ministry training and meet once a month to continue growing their skills, plan events, and learn about leadership. Some of the other things that Peer Ministry Leadership members do are:
- After School Drop-in Leaders
- Catechist for STA or CTK (all grades)
- Jr. High Castaway Counselor
- Jr. High Summer Festival Counselor
- Go on Mission trip & invite friends
- Invite friends to Sr. High Summer Festival
